American Academy of Pediatrics:

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) web site is cyberspace's most credible and complete source of medical information for infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Of course, your pediatrician is the very best source of information, but the AAP resources found within this baby will also answer some of your questions and offer you good advice.

Whether it's counseling parents on colic or sharing "best practices" for treating troubled adolescents, this site spans the field of child health care practice, offering information about:

advances in treatment of pediatric diseases, from chicken pox to HIV;
early identification and guidance on common childhood problems, from ear infections to sports injuries;
how to cope medically with the latest childhood fad, whether it's body piercing or laser pointers;
medical aspects of psychosocial questions, like early childhood enrichment, or ADHD and school success;
plus the latest child product recalls and pediatric medication warnings.

There is an exceptional relevant new section relating to violence prevention and violence in schools. After all, we exist to improve the lives of children, and to assist those who care for and about children.
